Sustainability at the Spanish state Universities (internal seminar)

Internal seminar organized by the ODG, from the UNESCO Sustainability Chair - (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Universitat de Girona, Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona, Universitat de Barcelona, Universitat de les Illes Balears, Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea, Universidad Autonoma de Madrid, Universidad Politecnica de Madrid, Centro Complutense de Estudios e Investigaciones Medioambientales, Universidad Pablo de Olavide).
The objective is to lay the foundations for a collective reflection on, for example, how it affects the quality and type of results the source of funding for university research and other activities such as teaching and labor practices for students. We believe that in the present context, the sustainabiliity work area promoted from the University must nurture a constant questioning to allow an academic space to take on the best possible way, its historic role of working towards social justice and environmental policies.
The seminar has been possible thanks to the support of the Department of Economics and Knowledge (Government of Catalonia).
